It is very different to run through the modules when everything setup but the process to get everything setup will take hours and weeks and maybe even months to complete. Don't be fooled by the Demo they provide. We were basically on our own to figure it out. Our trainer spent two days covering all the different modules and then when it was time to "Go Live" instead of helping us or at least leading us through it like we had be told.
On site training is not worth the extra money they will charge you for. It is not as customizable as you will be told by the sales reps. We have been forced to change almost every procedure because Fishbowl only has "One" way of doing things. Take caution because it has not been anything like that. Nothing is impossible for Fishbowl they will say. When I started talking with sales they really over sold Fishbowls capabilities. This requirement may not suit all smaller companies.Ĭaution, Over promise and under deliver!! In exchange for all other features, we see this as a nominal and not inconvenient requirement as at the time we were adding new computer assets.
